Yesterday, December 15th, Tom turned 25. =) He has officially made it to a quarter of a century, somehow surviving almost two years of being married to the most accident-prone person either of us know. He’s a guitar playin’, computer codin’, joke-crackin’, family lovin’, ramblin’ wreck from Georgia Tech and a hell-of-an-engineer, but most importantly to me, he’s my husband. He’s the one person on this Earth that God knew would be just perfect for me-my absolute match and yet still usually my complete opposite in every way. He balances me out and makes me better than I could hope to be on my own. And for those of you who read this blog and actually know him, you know that he is a genuinely wonderful person. He is sweet, dependable, and friendly. He is funny, silly, and doesn’t take himself too seriously. He loves to be center stage, but he’s modest. He is going to be embarrassed that I put this online. And he’s going to love it at the same time. He’s a leader, a God-fearing man, and he’s my best friend.
I just love him.
Here’s to the rest of the century.
