Friday Favorite: Reviewing For You

I’ll keep this short- I just wanted to know if there are any things in particular that y’all would like me to review. I have  a couple reviews for the next two weeks pretty much lined up, but after that I’m going to be on the hunt for more faves.

Do you want to see restaurants? Websites? Products? Places? Shops?

What about with the holidays approaching? Do you have any toy that you know kids just absolutely love and want to guest post about it? Or things that adults love? Or do you want me to review those items for you if I can get a hold of them (or afford them)?

What kind of giveaways would y’all like to see?

Let me hear you. Friday Favorites are typically things/places/etc that I’ve enjoyed and wanted to share about. But if there is something or some place that y’all are extra curious about, let me know. I’ll try to check it out for you!

Happy October!

  1. I’d recommend a few things:

    1. Review local restaurants with a focus on whether or not it’s a good place for visitors or tourists to attend. You have several friends/family that will likely benefit from this one.

    2. Divide Atlanta up into sections and then give the highlights of each. Discuss good places to live/work/play. Bonus points for pictures! (Downtown, Midtown, Buckhead, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Duluth, Forest Park, Grant Park, Chamblee, Marietta, Norcross, Smyrna, Tucker, Stone Mountain, etc.)

    3. Compare unique dog products. For example, what are the pros and cons of the different Kong items? Which type of rawhide bone is best? How do you choose a good kibble for a new dog? All of these sound really mundane in the abstract, but for people with new dogs, they’re intensely interesting. Additionally, these are things that nobody properly reviews.

Basically, select things that (a) you are some sort of authority on and (b) other people might like to use/visit/consume. Restaurants are a gimme because we all eat 3 times a day (making us relative authorities on food). Additionally, I meet a lot of people who “want to visit Atlanta but haven’t gotten around to it yet.” Finally, your education and work experience give you some intuition about reviewing pet products. =)

  2. You can talk about your favorite things/restaurants/places in the different cities that you’ve visited.
