Meet Jellybean.

Yep! That’s right. We’re gonna have a baby! A bebe. A wee babe. I can hardly believe it myself.

Of course we’ve had a little while to get used to the idea. We’re 8 weeks pregnant, which means that we’ve known for about a month.Β And, well, it wasn’t exactly a “surprise” pregnancy.

Anyway, we’re due on January 28th. Suddenly, winter doesn’t seem all that far away!

Any and all prayers for the health of this sweet baby would be appreciated.Β I will be keeping the blogizzle updated as things progress…if I’m not too tired to blog altogether. πŸ˜‰

We are so unbelievably excited, and we just couldn’t wait to to tell the world any longer. Especially after hearing that little heartbeat going yesterday during the sonogram. That’s the best sound I’ve ever heard in my life! Tom wholeheartedly agrees.

Yay, Jellybean!

  1. Yay so excited for you both!!! How awesome. Congratulations. I’m looking forward to all your updates.

    1. Thanks! I figured only the women would really care about my updates. However the guys might enjoy updates TOM will be doing on his blog from time to time. lol

  2. Congrats!!! We are so happy for you! Marin was born on the 26th of January(due on the 20th), so you’ll be preggers during the same time frame that I was. So neat!

    1. Thanks!! That is cool! Of course, you are tall and fit, and I am short and squat, so I will look like a penguin this winter. LOL It was hard not to tell yall at the beach, but we wanted to wait a little longer.

        1. Girl: Lois Padme Leia

          Boy: Kal-El Luke Clark Han

          Sound about right?

Of course, you could go with a traditional Irish name like Seamus or something like that.

          1. hahaha We actually have names picked out already. Though Tom is pulling for me to bring the baby home from the hospital in a superman cape. I’ve told him that if it’s a boy, I’ll consider it. πŸ˜‰

      1. Meghan Baby = Megby (pronounced “Meg-bee”)
Tom Baby = Tomby (pronounced “Tom-bee”)

Also, the photo reveals that Tomby has a “Power” rating of 100%. I don’t know how they figured that out, but it’s awesome.

  3. Just wait till it becomes a caterpillar…or a butterfly….or can leap tall buildings in a single bound.

Congrats you guys! We are incredibly excited for you.

  4. YEAAAAAAA! I already love this baby SO much! It’s going to be SOOO spoiled by it’s Uncle Justin and Aunt Jennifer :). Seriously, I have to stop myself from looking at baby stuff already! Love y’all!

  5. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Brian and I will be adoptive aunt and uncle (just FYI)….I mean someone has to help the little one embrace his/her geekish ways πŸ˜‰

  6. YAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cute already!!!!!!!!! I think hearing the baby’s heartbeat (each time, but especially the first) is one of those things that you cherish forever. There will never be a sweeter beat played. πŸ™‚ So… your next post should be about how you’re feeling… how you told everyone… etc. ‘Cause we (the ladies) want to know! Love y’all and JB! Although I think you are taller, you are welcome to borrow any of my maternity clothes. The seasons may match up at least for some of the time. πŸ™‚

    1. We love you and Henry too! It is really exciting hearing that heartbeat, and really emotional. I doubt I’m much taller, so I would love to borrow some of your cute stuff when the time comes! Thanks for offering!

  7. Congrats you two! Joe and Kelly are having another little one due Feb 9. Her ultrasound is Thursday. Technology is an amazing thing!!!!! Love seeing “Jellybean!” Congrats again!

  8. Yay! It’s raining babies in our lives πŸ™‚

We’re so excited for you two. Wish we were closer to celebrate. We’ll be in GA for Christmas (when Laura has her baby) so we’ll have to do our own little shower with you guys!

    1. I don’t think I knew that Laura was expecting! How exciting for y’all to be aunts and uncles! I’m so happy for her. Thanks for your excitement over Jellybean! =) We would love to see y’all this Christmas!
